Stop the Cycle of Violence to both Humans and Animals

Thanks to all that participated in this meeting. Everyone received helpful material and expressed interest in moving forward with programs directed at ending the violence. An email list-serve has been created for discussions of this subject. To join, contact Lila at vapaws@swva.net.com.
A survey will be forth coming to discover individual's interests and abilities to start building coalitions and programs. In the meantime, check back often and visit the associated links for Animal Abuse/Human Violence information.

You are invited to a First Strike Workshop follow-up meeting focusing on
antiviolence issues and solutions in your community.
There will be informative presentations as well as group discussion.
Additional resource materials will be provided to participants for use in
their community programs.

DIRECTIONS to the LIBRARY

From Interstate 81: take Christiansburg exit #114. Turn onto Route 8 (West Main St.) toward Christiansburg. At the first stoplight, make a left onto Depot St., go through the next light, the 1st road on the right is Sheltman St. Turn right on to Sheltman, the library is the 1st building on the left.

From Blacksburg: take 460 (North Franklin St.) into Christiansburg. At the stoplight where the Pizza Inn is, make a right onto Depot St., look to your left for the Rescue Squad, Sheltman St. is just after the Rescue building. Turn left on to Sheltman, the library is the 1st building on the left.
