As part of our commitment to supporting other organizations, VA PAWS ran this ad in the Roanoke Times Current section, in recognition of the Humane Society of the United States sponsored, National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week. We hoped that this ad would encourage people to become aware of their local shelter and possibly become involved in animal welfare issues at the local level.
