PET THERAPY AT VA TECH - SLUSHER DORM:

On May 2, 2001, members of VA PAWS were asked to provide some much needed stress reduction for students during final exam week. Resident hall manager, Christy Kull, provided drinks and treats in a nice outdoor setting. Maggie, Ben, Butter, and Grace the cat along with Lila Borge Wills, Becky Murray, and Christy Smith were able to provide a great distraction for many on-campus students. VA PAWS looks forward to participating in other such activities, wherever the positive effects of companion animals can benefit people.
